Nokia and Xiaomi both are big smartphone companies but the interesting news is that both companies are come together. They are now friends in business terms for Surge S1 chip. According to latest news viral these days, Nokia want to use that Surge S1 chip in there upcoming mid-range smartphones.

What is Surge S1 chip ?
The Surge S1 SOC (system-on-chip) is an
octa-core Processor chip with ARM Cortex A53 Processor, 28 nm, HPC prosses
or Manufacturing Process. This chip use four 2.2GHz cores to handle heavy tasks
and four 1.4GHz cores for standard apps and workload.
Surge S1 chip supports fast
charging at 9 volt/2A. This chip use 40% less power than the Predecessor
Graphic chip generation and it supports 4K videos also. Mali T-860 MP4 Graphic
chip has been integrated in this chipset. Surge S1 chip has the 32-bit DSP
supporting VoLTE feature and 16kHz sampling to deliver high quality voice
calls. Xiomi shared new performance results, according to these results Surge S1 chip can beat the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 and MediaTek Helio P20.
Newly Launched
Xiaomi launching Mi 5c the
first phone using Surge S1 chip. This smartphone having 5.5-inch display with
2,560x1,600 resolution and 12-megapixel camera. This phone supports fast
charging. For that moment this smartphone is now launched in Chinese market
only (priced approx. $218).
